We are in the process of applying for a federal Indian Education Grant from the Office of Indian Education. This will mean that we will be able to serve the American Indian students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade in Harnett County. We will have an education program that meets the academic and cultural needs of the youth in Harnett County schools and enrolled youth within the Coharie tribe that reside in Harnett County. We are the ONLY contact for this program. If your child received a form from the Harnett County school district, please fill out one and submit to the HCCIA OFFICE ONLY.

All Harnett County families with youth in grades K-12 are needed to help get this program operating by the  2026-2027 school year.  Please fill out the form and submit it to our tribal office in Dunn. You can download the document and email to the office assistant Mrs. Shelby Tyndall at shelby.tyndall@coharietribe.org.  You may also pick up a hard copy and drop it off at the HCCIA tribal office. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Tyndall at (910) 892-0032 or (910) 891-8444.
